Install and start Apache

Once connected to Ubuntu, install Apache from the official Ubuntu package repository and make it start automatically.

Ubuntu terminal

sudo apt update
sudo apt install apache2 -y
sudo systemctl enable --now apache2
sudo systemctl status apache2

What success looks like

The status command should report active (running). You can also open http://YOUR_PUBLIC_IP and see Apache's default page.
